so here we are, this is project 2, Introduce, Via a Deranged Process, a presence referring to nature or the natural world, without representing it. and in my little posse I had Dando and Jay to work with, and originally we sat down and drafted up a whole storm of ideas, but were finding it difficult to work out quite what this means, we had ideas including, making a machine of some sort that could "create" nature, something "anti - nature" evolution of computers, use the elements somehow, we then realized that this task meant " bring in nature, without physically bringing in nature" so some of the best were things like taking a photo of a city-scape and removing the buildings, or not turn up to class, physically taking "nature" out of the building. however after much more discussion we decided to shoot a porn using mannequins, originally going to be life sized, however there were problems with this, so we went with scale model sized scenes. this was a kool idea we thought, its taking nature right out of it, and yet referring to it with the mannequins fucking. and its a pretty deranged process.
